 In our Giftshop, you will find geuine Swedish handicraft from local craftsmen. This is the perfect place to find gifts with a clear connection to Sweden, and especially the south part of our country, known as Småland. We also offer seasonal, locally produced specialities. During Christmas season, you will find Santa Claus figures, angles, candles, Cristmas Goats and much more. The giftshop is housed in the old stone barn, originally built in 1872. + +

 From the history of Lönngården The Giftshop is housed in the old stone barn, originally built in 1872. The barn has been used for various purposes, such as a riding school, discoteque and an Agricultural museum. The Dwelling house of Lönngården was built in the late 18:th century. Originally, there were three similar houses built next to each other. Some time in the 19:th century the borders of the land were subject for change. Due to a major disagreement between the neighbours, Lönngården was disassembled by hand, turned a quarter, and rebuilt with the intention to turn its back against the other neighbour(!). The second of the three similar houses was also disassembled, and moved a few hundred meters, where it still stands today. The third house tragically burned down many years ago. |
